This handbook is meant to help you navigate your path through the department, whether you are a Theatre Major or Minor. However, it is no substitute for taking personal responsibility for your own education. Acting with initiative and autonomy to meet your requirements while pursuing your own interests is essential for success. In general, you are expected to be professional and thoughtful. You are expected to attend all classes and to be punctual. You are expected to do all assigned readings and work; theatre is about being present, prepared, and ready to work.
