Michele Leavy has performed throughout the bay area and across the country with such companies as the American Conservatory Theater, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Center Repertory Company, TheatreWorks, Livermore Shakespeare Festival, The Western Stage, Theatre Key West (Florida), and The Elephant Theatre Company (Los Angeles), among others.
She holds a BA in Drama from UC San Diego and in 1994, Michele earned her MFA from the Professional Actor Training Program at UC Davis. Michele has taught for the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival's Midnight Shakespeare Program (patterned after the nationally acclaimed Midnight Basketball Program) as well as the California Shakespeare Theater. In addition to teaching for UC Davis, she is currently serves on faculty with the American Conservatory Theater’s Young Conservatory. Leavy is a member of the San Francisco based ensemble, Crowded Fire Theater Company.
